The Kowa TSN-66A PROMINAR 66mm Angled Spotting Scope Body replaces the venerable TSN-663. The major upgrades include the addition of Kowa's Pure Fluorite Crystal objective lenses and using TE-11WZ II, TE-80XW eyepieces, and the other accessories used with the TSN-88 and TSN-99 bodies (see links in the optional accessories section on the right). Focus control has also been updated from a single knob to a dual focus system that allows rapid focus changes followed by precise fine tuning. Two screw holes in the tripod mount foot allows the use of tripod plates with two screws for extra security and eliminates the need for an anti-twist pin. The TSN-66A magnesium alloy body weighs 40 ounces and is 12.2" long. The TSN-66 scopes can focus as close as 11.5'. With the TE-11WZ II eyepiece, they have a field of view of 126' at 1000 yards at 25x and 69' at 60x. With the optional TE-80XW eyepiece you get 135' at 1000 yards and 35x magnification. All accessories that work with the TSN-99 and TSN-88 spotting scopes are compatible.
