The Field Optics Research ProMax FT6229C Professional Full Height Carbon Fiber Tripod is a highly versatile and portable photography/nature viewing tool. Weighing just 2.94 lbs with a telescoping center column that minimizes folding length makes it easy to carry this tripod between shooting locations. The feet are covered with rubber caps that can be removed to expose spiked feet, letting you modulate depending on the terrain. Two of the three legs have foam wraps on them. These legs can be removed from the tripod to function in one of three ways: as monopods, as walking sticks or, with the V-Stick accessory, they can be connected and used as a shooting stick! Traditional tripod use with the ProMax FT6229C lets you shoot at a maximum height of 62.7", and the legs can be splayed out to 85° for a minimum shooting height of 9.5". This carbon fiber tripod has a 35 lbs load capacity to accommodate large lenses.
